Job summary

Berman Construction in Orlando, FL is seeking a part-time Janitorial Cleaner to maintain clean, sanitary facilities across our properties. You will be responsible for restrooms, break rooms, and common areas while following safety procedures and company policies.

No prior experience is required, but punctuality, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with a team are essential. The role offers a supportive work environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and proper chemical usage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and fixtures.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout assigned areas.
• Dust and wipe surfaces such as desks, countertops, and windowsills.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Replenish restroom and breakroom supplies as needed.
• Clean and maintain common areas, including break rooms and kitchens.
• Follow all safety procedures, cleaning protocols, and company policies.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor in a timely manner.
