Job summary

PMM Companies is seeking a hands-on supervisor for the Kaiser Permanente Gaithersburg location. The role focuses on janitorial cleaning and ensuring high-quality service for all departments.

Responsibilities include assigning tasks, monitoring performance, maintaining payroll reporting accuracy, and fostering strong client relationships while leading a reliable cleaning team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Fluent in English required; physical ability to lift 25-50 lbs; benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of janitorial cleaning required.
• Fluent in English.
• Supervisory duties and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Determine cleaning assignments and priorities; adjust assignments based on occupancy or emergencies; maintain accurate record of assignments.
• Ensure team meets cleaning needs of each department/area served.
• Ensure employees follow proper clock in and out procedures.
• Follow work procedures and expedite workflow to ensure timely, efficient service; communicate room completion and availability.
• Foster strong client relationships and service quality.
• Oversee productivity and breaks; report performance issues to management.
• Inspect rooms, common areas and stock rooms; approve employee work performance; take corrective action where needed.
• Train and develop team following company guidelines.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of hours for payroll automation.
• Manage supplies to maintain inventory par levels.
• Complete assignments as directed by management.
