Job summary

Kings III is seeking a hands-on IT Systems & Network Administrator to maintain and secure our mission-critical infrastructure at our Coppell, TX headquarters. You’ll own projects end-to-end, support physical and virtual servers, networks, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, backups, and endpoints in a high-availability environment.

The role collaborates with a small team to keep our emergency communications system running 24/7.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a broad IT role within a small, dynamic team.
• 3+ years administering servers, networks, identity, Microsoft 365, and security tooling.
• Hands-on experience with virtualized server environments (VMware or Hyper-V).
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a sense of ownership.
• A learner’s mindset with the ability to both teach and be taught.
• Nice to have certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Security+, or Microsoft cloud certifications.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and secure physical and virtual servers in Microsoft on-premises and cloud environments.
• Administer networks including switches, firewalls, wireless, SANs, and monitoring platforms.
• Support Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ID) in a hybrid environment.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services and integrated applications.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity systems.
• Support SIP-based telecom platforms and related infrastructure.
• Secure and manage endpoints and mobile devices using MDM and security tooling.
• Support security operations, incident response, and evidence collection for SOC 2 controls across access management, change management, and monitoring.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
