Job summary

BB&E is seeking an IT Specialist to join the team providing on-site technical support to the 341st Civil Engineer Squadron at Malmstrom AFB, Montana.

The role requires U.S. Citizenship and a DoD Secret Clearance, knowledge of DoD/AF standards, and a bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, with a minimum of two years’ experience. Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Science or Software Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and a DoD Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Report on continuing education status as required by the Contracting Officer.
• Adhere to DoD and AF computer/network standards and procedures.
• Identify corrective or preventive actions for servers and software to ensure optimum performance.
• Support IT/OT infrastructure and compute systems; troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Train users on new computer systems and provide effective solutions.
• Maintain and operate computer systems and networks to minimize service interruptions.
