Job summary

MedImpact is seeking an IT Security Engineer II to develop, execute, and monitor enterprise-wide information security across SECOPS, DEVSECOPS and Threat Analytics. The role oversees security for corporate subsidiaries, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of data and compliance with regulations.

You will lead security automation, incident investigations, and cross-functional security projects. The position is on-site at the San Diego headquarters, with responsibilities spanning policy

Qualifications

• BS/BA and 8+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4 years of SME in respective areas as stated in job requirements.
• Strong knowledge of SSAE SOC 1/2, HIPAA, PCI and regulatory security standards.

Responsibilities

• Enforces policy and supports security procedures across IT systems.
• Leads efforts to maintain and improve security tools and environments.
• Designs, deploys and configures security solutions throughout the enterprise.
• Investigates security incidents and communicates findings to management.
• Promotes information security awareness and training across the organization.
• Collaborates with internal clients and stakeholders to support security needs.
