Job summary

ARUP Laboratories, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, seeks an IT Infrastructure Systems Administrator II to join a small team supporting enterprise compute and storage across Windows and Linux, AD, VDI, and virtualization. The role administers VDI assets, server build requests, compute/storage clusters, backups, and helpdesk support; on-site schedule Monday–Friday, 40 hrs/week.

Requires 4 years of enterprise IT experience or 2 years with certification; a High School diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of continuous Enterprise IT Systems Administration experience, or two (2) years with appropriate IT Certification.
• Competence in Windows & Linux Server OS and Windows Desktop OS.
• Knowledge of SAN/NAS storage and Backup services.

Responsibilities

• Administers Virtual Desktop Infrastructure assets.
• Reviews and processes Windows and Linux server build requests.
• Administers DEV/CERT compute and storage clusters.
• Manages data backup and replication operations.
• Responds to helpdesk queue escalations.
• Other duties as assigned.
