Job summary

DMG MORI USA is seeking an IT Help Desk Administrator to deliver technical support across DMG MORI locations. You will troubleshoot hardware/software, support mobile devices, and assist with endpoint deployments to maintain a secure, productive IT environment.

The role requires a 3+ year background in help desk or desktop support, strong customer service, and proactive problem-solving in an on-site setting in Hoffman Estates, IL. Certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in a Help Desk/Desktop Support role.
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Experience managing mobile devices (iOS/iPadOS).
• Familiarity with Active Directory and remote support tools.
• Imaging, deployment, and hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Certifications like A+, Network+, Security+, MS 365 Endpoint Administrator, ITIL desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and applications.
• Troubleshoot issues for local and remote users.
• Deliver white-glove IT support to executives and senior leadership.
• Provision computers, deploy software, configure workstations, and manage assets.
• Support iPhone/iPad devices and conference room tech.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding and asset inventory.
• Document issues and resolutions in ticketing system and knowledgebase.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical users.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest long-term solutions and process improvements.
• Support IT projects and other duties as assigned.
