Job summary

ATI Worksite Solutions in Norwich, NY seeks an Injury Prevention Specialist/Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist Assistant to develop on-site prevention programs and assess employee health status for individualized improvement plans.

You will collaborate with industrial clients, perform hands-on interventions, document treatments, and coach for ongoing improvement while aligning with OSHA guidelines. New grads welcome for a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Athletic Training.
• Associates degree as PTA with licensure; or Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science/Athletic Training/Kinesiology/Allied Health.
• Discipline-specific license or certification as appropriate.
• Basic Life Support and AED Certification.
• BOC certified or eligible to sit for BOC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with office and industrial clients to assess employee health status and create an individualized plan for improvement.
• Observe employee work performance to assess body mechanics and create a mitigation plan.
• Document all employee treatments within the workplace and coach for continuous improvement.
• Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules as they pertain to first aid (29 CFR 1904.7).
• Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations.
• Provide employee health education and training on wellness and disease prevention topics.

Education
