Job summary

RHI Magnesita is seeking an on-site Account Support Specialist to own the full lifecycle support for assigned customers in a heavy industrial setting. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; higher education preferred.
• 2+ years of refractory installation experience or steel mill/foundry environment preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
• Excellent customer service and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary daily on-site RHIM representative; maintain strong customer relationships.
• Interface with customers on product performance, service expectations, and needs.
• Manage customer expectations regarding product performance and service delivery.
• Respond to urgent needs, including after-hours support when required.
• Provide regular maintenance on RHIM machines and equipment.
• Assist with product installations and machine maintenance as part of service functions.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting ability for machinery and equipment issues.
• Complete required equipment operations, pre-checks, certifications, and standards.
• Apply mechanical and electrical aptitude to work with RHIM equipment.
• Assist with inventory management at customer sites; monitor usage and replenishment.
• Track and report data related to product performance and customer insights.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support customer success; maintain timely communication.
