Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is seeking a Master Licensed Electrician to support on-site electrical maintenance at Corteva’s location in St. Joseph, Illinois. You will perform repairs, inspections, and safety program tasks across process equipment, ensuring reliability and uptime.

You will interpret NEC rules, use SAP for work orders, and leverage PLC knowledge to optimize equipment performance. The role requires safety focus, teamwork, and willingness to work overtime during peak production.

Qualifications

Journeyman electrical experience required.
Interpret and apply the National Electric Code (NEC).
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
Willing to climb, work in elevated areas and outdoors in varying conditions.
Able to work independently and in a team with strong problem-solving.
Commitment to health and safety and maintaining detailed records.
Willing to work overtime and during seasonal weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

Ensure operation of equipment: electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control devices.
Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting, and inspections.
Review safety program compliance with program leaders and teams.
Adhere to quality systems and safety procedures including OSHA/PSM.
Recommend improvements to electrical programs and add new devices.
