PIRTEK is seeking a Hydraulic Hose Technician & Mechanic in Michigan to service, assemble and install hoses for a diverse client base including manufacturing and construction sectors. The role combines shop fabrication with field support, requiring precise measurement, safe handling, and practical mechanical skills.

You will fabricate custom hoses, select correct components from samples or specs, operate PIRTEK equipment, and assist with billing and inventory.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience in repair or machinery.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Positive attitude and self-motivation are essential.
• Good organization and planning abilities are needed.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate hoses and tubing for walk-in customers.
• Specify correct replacement assemblies from samples and specs.
• Operate PIRTEK equipment to fabricate hose assemblies.
• Assist with billing and maintain a clean, organized shop.
• Track inventory meticulously.
• Provide inventory and restock support to field technicians.
