Job summary

PIRTEK, the nation’s leading provider for on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement, is hiring a Hose Installation Mechanic. You will service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base and operate a mobile hose workshop/van while making local service calls.

The role demands a strong customer-service mindset, outstanding mechanical skills, and excellent communication. You will be on-call 24/7 one week out of four, with opportunities for overtime and a performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience in auto repair, off-road vehicle repair, or machinery repair.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and self-motivated.
• Sound organization and planning skills.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base.
• Carry out service calls in the local area (Auburn Hills and vicinity).
• Maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Develop new business and build relationships with new customers.
• Be available for on‑call 24/7 one week out of four minimum.
