Job summary

Sonomaseawolves is looking for a Building Service Engineer to perform maintenance and repair work on various systems at Sonoma State University. This full-time position involves ensuring HVAC and other operational systems are fully functional and meet safety codes. Candidates should have a minimum of two years' experience in relevant fields, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Competitive salary range from $5,998 to $8,737 per month and benefits included. Valid California Driver’s License is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in operation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
• Ability to work in a performing arts setting with diverse performers.
• Pre-placement exam and valid California Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on heating, ventilation, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
• Ensure all operational systems meet code requirements.
• Provide a safe functioning environment for the university.

Skills

Journey-level experience in maintenance and repair

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Knowledge of Google Suite

Education

Formal coursework in mechanical/electrical controls technology
