Job summary

Batson-Cook Texas, LLC. is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead site safety on a $80-million Tyler, TX project. The role focuses on implementing health, safety, and environmental programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and incident prevention.

You will coordinate with Regional Safety Manager, subcontractors, and site staff to document incidents, conduct audits, and drive corrective actions, fostering a safe work environment on all project activities in Tyler.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety-related field is required.
• At least seven years in building construction safety with five years in safety management.
• National safety certification (CSP/CHST) may add up to two years of experience.
• OSHA 500/OSHA 502 trainer credentials are preferred.
• CPR/First Aid training with recent certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accident is properly documented.
• Investigate accidents and unsafe conditions and recommend remedial actions.
• Plan and conduct daily site safety inspections and audits.
• Coordinate emergency procedures and first aid responses.
• Maintain safety equipment and monitor site safety compliance.
