Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. seeks a Health & Safety Specialist to support the development and continuous improvement of workplace health and safety programs at our Matteson, IL facility.

You will partner with Operations and cross-functional teams to identify hazards, reduce risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a proactive safety culture. This role requires 1–3 years of HSE experience and a Bachelor's in safety or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and improvement of Health & Safety programs.
• Maintain LMS administration and safety training requirements.
• Conduct safety observations, inspections, and audits to identify hazards and compliance concerns.
• Prepare safety reports and track corrective actions.
