Job summary

D7 Pneumatics LLC is seeking an On-Site Health and Safety Officer to join our team. This role will implement, monitor, and improve safety programs on construction job sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and a culture of safety among employees and contractors.

You will conduct inspections, develop protocols, provide training, oversee PPE usage, investigate incidents, and maintain documentation. Travel across the country to support multiple sites is expected.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30hr card for construction industry.
• Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in a Health and Safety role, preferably in construction or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Develop and implement safety protocols, emergency plans, and risk assessments.
• Provide on-site safety training, toolbox talks, and safety orientations for employees and contractors.
• Observe workers to ensure appropriate use of personal protection equipment is being implemented.
• Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and safety violations, recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on safety programs, training records, and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related matters and coordinate with management to promote continuous improvement.
