Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site safety inspections and audits to ensure OSHA/regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement safety protocols, emergency response plans, and risk assessments.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety orientations, and on-site training for workers and contractors.
• Observe and enforce proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; report findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation and ensure up-to-date training records.

Job Summary:

As the On-Site Health and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of safety among all employees and contractors. This role will be critical in safeguarding the health and well-being of everyone on our job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of on-site operations to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Develop and implement safety protocols, emergency response plans, and risk assessments.
• Provide on-site safety training, toolbox talks, and safety orientations for employees and contractors.
• Observe workers to ensure appropriate use of personal protection equipment is being implemented.
• Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and safety violations, recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on safety programs, training records, and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related matters and coordinate with management to promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• OSHA 30hr card for the Construction Industry.
• Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
