Your New Company. A leading property consultancy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Consultant to join their on-site team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects and ensure compliance with statutory health and safety regulations across all phases of construction. Your New Role as the On-Site H&S Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all health and safety practices on site meet legal and company standards. You will play a key role in supporting the Principal Contractor's duties under the CDM Regulations 2015, conducting inspections, and producing comprehensive reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 regulations, acting on behalf of the Principal Contractor.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, producing detailed reports and implementing preventative measures.
  • Provide health and safety advice and support to site teams and stakeholders.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and training sessions to promote a strong safety culture.


What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Proven experience in construction health and safety on active sites.
  • In-depth knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Strong background in site safety inspections and report writing.
  • Experience in managing contracts and fulfilling Principal Contractor CDM duties.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership of IOSH (or working towards it).


Desirable Qualifications

  • Qualified to act as a Principal Designer.
  • Qualified to act as a CDM Advisor.
  • Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH).
