Job summary
Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a mid-career Full Stack Developer to join the PTA application team in Seattle, WA, supporting the Global Services Training Solutions organization. The role focuses on refactoring the PTA front end from Angular to React and contributing to backend development with Java.
You will collaborate with DevOps to integrate development and deployment processes and stay current with CBTA digital solutions while supporting off-hours communication with team members
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development with full stack expertise.
- Strong experience with REACT for front end development.
- Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot development, SQL, and REST APIs.
- Understanding of software development testing practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile environments.
Responsibilities
- Refactor and migrate the PTA front end from Angular to React.
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java.
- Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Apply DevOps concepts to support CI, CD, and infrastructure automation.
- Participate in code reviews and agile development discussions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across front end and backend components.
- Improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
