Qualifications

• Familiarity with EHR/EMR and payer portals; HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review accounts for documentation, authorizations, and insurance details before billing.
• Prepare, review, and submit claims to government and commercial payers.
• Verify codes, modifiers, and place of service to maintain clean claims.
• Research denials and pursue reconsiderations and appeals as needed.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle teams to resolve billing issues.
• Maintain accurate account notes and ensure HIPAA compliance.
