Job summary
Guardian Pharmacy of Daytona in Ormond Beach, FL, is seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I to join our on-site team. You will be responsible for filling and packaging prescriptions accurately for delivery to customers under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, pharmacy technician license or registration, and at least 1 year of related experience.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Pharmacy technician license or state registration required.
- National Certification (PTCB) preferred.
- 1+ year related experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling prescriptions from inventory.
- Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins.
- Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication scanning issues.
- Participate in training and development to gain proficiency in other fulfillment areas.
- Maintain inventory and ensure adequate supply for orders.
- Adhere to all laws, regulations, and policies for dispensing medications.
