Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Daytona in Ormond Beach, FL, is seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I to support prescription processing and packaging. The role operates on-site at a closed-door facility with patient interactions over the phone and requires accuracy and teamwork.

Under a Registered Pharmacist, you will fill prescriptions, label, and manage inventory while meeting strict deadlines. Training is provided and a full benefits package is offered to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required per state regulations.
• State-required Pharmacy Technician license/certification; PTCB preferred.
• 1+ years of related experience; basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to packaging, scan and assemble into bins accurately.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any mis-scanning medications.
• Participate in training to gain proficiency in other fulfillment areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate medication supply.
• Maintain inventory levels and proper stock arrangement.
• Meet pharmacy accuracy and productivity standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors to keep workflow efficient.
• Maintain clean workstation and replenish stock as needed.
• Comply with laws and policies on dispensing medications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule: 10:30am- 6:30 or run is done

This role will be performed on-site at a closed-door pharmacy in Ormond Beach, FL. All patient interactions will be over the phone.

Competitive pay.Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for the filling and packaging of prescriptions in an accurate and timely manner for delivery to our customers.

Essential Job Functions (include the following):

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins in an accurate and timely manner.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Participate in training and development activities to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication available to complete all orders.
• Assist in maintaining inventory at appropriate levels, including removing expired or unused meds, marking used bottles and keeping inventory neat and arranged in-order. May assist in physical inventory.
• Consistently meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels.
• Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently.
• Maintain clean and orderly workstation. Put medications away and replenish all stock supplies needed.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the dispensing of prescription medications.
• Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed

Education and Certifications:

High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements)

Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB)

Skills and Qualifications:

• 1+ years of related experience (technical knowledge/skills may substitute for experience)
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
• Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire about inaccuracies
