Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in freight coordination, logistics, or related field.
• Experience with LTL, truckload, and small-parcel shipments preferred.
• Knowledge of bills of lading and basic freight/shipping documentation.
• Understanding of freight rates, accessorial charges, and carrier service levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer-service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight shipments.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers, brokers, customers, and vendors.
• Obtain and compare freight quotes and select carriers based on cost and service.
• Prepare shipping documentation and bills of lading.
• Track shipments and provide delivery updates.
• Communicate delays or issues to relevant teams.
• Maintain shipment records and monitor carrier performance.
