Job summary

Mentor Technical Group seeks a Food Quality Assurance Auditor to perform food quality, safety, and physical safety audits at USMC contract dining facilities. This on-site role rotates among mess halls, kitchens, loading docks, and restrooms.

The coordinator maintains relationships with Mess Hall managers, coaches staff on non-conformance, audits, and prepares for client and third-party audits, ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance with FDA TSFC expectations.

Qualifications

• Legal age 18 years or older.
• Education or equivalent experience in Hospitality, Food Science Technology, or related field.
• 2 years supervisory/managerial experience.
• ServSafe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain close working relationship with Mess Hall managers and subcontractors on quality and safety.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and training to mess hall management and employees as it relates to addressing non-conformance and audits.
• Maintain liaison with the Base Quality Assurance Evaluators (QAE) and other customer representatives on project performance and service matters.
• Assist mess hall managers and subcontractors in driving continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and other areas related to service to the client.
• Attention to detail in audit guidance policies and understanding of areas of compliance valued by the client.
