Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent commercial housekeeping, environmental services, custodial, or floor care experience.
• Experience with commercial floor care including stripping, waxing, burnishing, buffing, and carpet extraction.
• Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to work independently while providing direction and support to other team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, dependable, and able to remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean, safe environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping and floor care duties in office and industrial facilities.
• Operate commercial floor equipment including auto scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, and carpet extraction equipment.
• Perform floor stripping, waxing, polishing, burnishing, and other maintenance.
• Lead by example while assisting the team and ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Prioritize workloads and ensure areas meet company quality standards.
• Serve as primary point of contact for team members during the shift and resolve day-to-day issues.
• Train and mentor new employees on cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure standards are met and communicate supply needs to supervisors.
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs promptly.
