Job summary

Four Winds Casino New Buffalo is seeking a Security Officer to properly execute security duties on assigned shift, protecting guests, employees, and the property's facility, and to administer first aid and emergency medical services as required.

The role focuses on responding to injuries, maintaining reports, inventorying medical supplies and equipment, and coordinating with Risk Manager and Workers’ Compensation staff while ensuring a safe casino environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• State approved licensed Medical First Responder.
• Minimum of one year EMS/first responder experience preferred.
• Level 2 Gaming License required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to injuries and illnesses of guests and employees.
• Administers first aid and EMS and calls outside medical services as needed.
• Maintains accuracy of all incident reports and follow-up investigations.
• Maintains medical supplies inventory across the property.
• Operates property vehicles as directed.
• Interacts with guests and employees in a professional manner.
• Escorts and observes guests and staff to ensure safety; reports hazards.
• Attends safety meetings and participates in information flow across departments.
