Job summary

Alpha Insulation & Waterproofing, part of the IBP family, is hiring a Spray Fireproofing Mixer/Equipment Operator for outdoor and semi‑enclosed construction sites in Florida. You will mix spray foam daily, set up and operate mixing equipment, and ensure required material thickness and safety procedures are followed.

Travel across the state of Florida is required. The role demands physical stamina and meticulous attention to safety, including respiratory and fit testing provided by Alpha.

Qualifications

• Experience with fireproofing materials and mixing processes.
• Must complete a respiratory and fit test, provided by Alpha, before spraying begins — safety is our top priority.
• Knowledge of equipment setup and operation, with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix spray foam material daily according to specifications.
• Perform thickness checks during application to ensure the required material thickness is achieved.
• Set up and operate mixing and spraying equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Keep materials organized and maintain a clean work area.
• Assist with troubleshooting and minor equipment maintenance.
• Travel to job sites across the state of Florida.
