Job summary

TKC Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Field Tech to inspect and repair network devices for inmate phone systems under state and county contracts. You will assemble and configure equipment for new site installations and perform ongoing support across facilities in the assigned region.

The role requires travel, strong networking knowledge, and a professional customer-facing approach. Associate degree or equivalent is expected, with T-1 and analog circuit repair expertise highly valued.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required; 6 months to 1 year experience may be accepted.
• Must have T-1 and analog circuit repair knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of multiple network disciplines and diagnostics.
• Able to build good relationships with facility personnel.
• Experience servicing inmate phone systems preferred.
• Willingness to travel within assigned region and beyond.

About This Position

The Field Tech will perform a walk-through of the facility to repair or replace any components on a suite of custom configured network devices in support of multi-year state and county contracts. Field Techs perform installations at the new site. This requires putting together a significant amount of network equipment for the inmate phone system and associated add on components in support of the contract. Other duties as determined by the needs of the business.

What You'll Need

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have T-1 and analog circuit repair knowledge.
• Must have excellent working knowledge of multiple network disciplines and perform advanced network diagnostics to isolate and troubleshoot issues.
• Must be able to develop good working relationships with facility personnel.
• Service and maintain inmate phone systems at correctional facilities within an assigned region.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned territory as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Strong team oriented business skill.
• Professional attitude in dealing with customers.
