Qualifikationen

• Vocational training certificate, military experience, or an associate degree in industrial controls preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and take accurate measurements.
• Physical ability to lift and handle weights exceeding 50 lbs.
• Pass the state Weights and Measures Exam and obtain required licenses.
• Valid CDL or willingness to obtain Class B CDL.
• Familiarity with industrial service tools; torching and welding is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and customer-focused mindset.
• Proficient in English, written and verbal.
• Career progression to Field Service Technician Level II within 2–3 years.

Aufgaben

• Complete/Maintain safety training and all relevant job- and technical-related training.
• Perform all work safely, including safety analyses and site-specific training.
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment, including heavy-capacity test units.
• Complete Michelli Level I training program with on-the-job training (OJT).
• Complete HB-44 training and perform on-site calibrations of weighing and material handling systems.
• Assist a mentor in emergency field service requests, diagnose issues, and complete repairs; participate in on-call duty.
• Accurately complete calibration test reports, work orders, safety docs, and daily service logs.
• Maintain professional communication with customers regarding schedules and status.
• Promote Michelli products and services and generate leads and quotes.
• Collaborate with service coordinator/manager to meet expectations and productivity targets.
• Travel with senior technicians to customer sites and provide on-site service.
