Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Field Mechanical Technician for the Counter Intrusion team based in Costa Mesa, CA. Role involves deploying and supporting Anduril products globally, owning technical solutions from early lifecycle stages, and collaborating with engineering to iteratively improve systems.

You will train users, guide account managers on operational setups, and communicate product refinement recommendations to engineering. This is a full-time on-site role with international travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience solving problems in unstructured environments at hardware-software-network interface.
• Ability to climb towers to install, maintain, and repair sensor equipment and components including cameras, radars, and PTUs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair site infrastructure including generators, solar power systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance on tower structures and safety systems.
• Experience operating specialized equipment including aerial lifts and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Support military defense projects by performing technical operations, field maintenance, and training.
• Resolve complex hardware, software, and networking issues in unstructured environments.
• Communicate field issue status to internal and customer teams.
• Assist in developing and implementing operational and logistical plans for events.
• Ensure high availability and performance of defense systems.
• Maintain support plans for hardware and software.
• Assist in event planning and resource allocation, keeping stakeholders informed.
• Conduct incident RCAs and implement preventive measures.
• Lead post-incident reviews and apply improvements.
