Job summary

Avir Trilogy is seeking a Field Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator in Texas. This field-based role provides hands-on MDS, reimbursement, documentation, and education support to skilled nursing facilities across the territory.

The ideal candidate will have MDS 3.0 knowledge, Medicare Part A and PDPM experience, and strong documentation-review skills. Willingness to travel extensively and maintain minimum four facility-facing days weekly is essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LVN/LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2–3 years of skilled nursing MDS experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct MDS and clinical reimbursement support to assigned skilled nursing facilities.
• Assist with MDS assessments due to vacancies or increased workload.
• Review assessments for accuracy, timeliness, and documentation.
• Support Medicare Part A and PDPM processes.
• Review resident data to identify reimbursement opportunities.
• Assist with Case Mix Index management.
• Provide on-site MDS coverage and staff education during transitions.
• Conduct focused MDS and reimbursement audits as directed.
• Maintain reimbursement integrity by aligning coding with medical records.
