Job summary

Daifuku Cleanroom America Corporation in Austin, TX is seeking an Engineer in Charge I - SAS to act as the technical lead at customer sites and coordinate service activities for FSEs. You will communicate with corporate teams for spare parts, maintain MTBI targets, improve equipment availability, and help resolve downtime with proactive problem solving.

The role requires on-call availability, weekend/holiday work, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, with an AS degree or technical cert and 8+

Qualifications

Must possess excellent communication skills with ability to speak with clarity and interface effectively with customers and peers.
Requires excellent systematic troubleshooting skills, judgment, and problem solving skills to resolve diverse projects with ability to handle problems independently and implement corrective action.
Displays broad-based customer focus and commitment to resolve problems and make decisions based upon the priority of the problem in relation to business needs.
Must be available to work On-call needed and be available for specific emergency call-in work.
Requires comprehensive knowledge of basic computer language and commands.
Requires advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS powerpoint.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Must follow safety guidelines established for work area and wear protective clothing when exposed to hazardous materials.
Conform at all times to customer's safety and cleanliness policies to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

Isolate and resolve complex equipment and/or system malfunctions and take corrective action.
May lead CIP programs and drive Plan of Action Teams, providing data analysis and process improvements.
Provides training, mentoring, and guidance to site FSEs.
Generate reports and facilitate presentations of equipment downtime, PM, calibration, and other maintenance activities.
Participate in ongoing staff meetings and activities; represent company to customers in status meetings.
Conducts in-depth analysis of repair, PM, and downtime trends.
