Paper Transport in De Pere, WI is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This role requires the ability to work independently in the field and provide reliable service to our fleet customers.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience with diesel engines, air brake and electrical systems, and can read schematics while using diagnostic tools.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in heavy‑duty truck and trailer repair.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, and electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on trucks and trailers.
• Perform preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire replacements.
• Respond to roadside service calls and emergency breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot engine and system faults.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders using company systems.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, drivers, and management regarding repair status and recommendations.
