Job summary

Qualifications

• Practical experience with cables and cabling, including installation, termination, and testing.
• Knowledge of structured cabling systems and standards (labeling, routing, cable management).
• Basic understanding of electricity and low‑voltage systems with emphasis on safety.
• Proficiency with hand tools and related equipment for cabling installation/maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, floor plans, wiring diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Effective on-site communication and teamwork with colleagues and clients.
• Physical ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, stand long periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in cabling/telecommunications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Massillon, OH area.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber cables in commercial/government facilities.
