Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day operation, maintenance, and readiness of our office facilities. This on-site role serves as the point of contact for program customers and employees, coordinating work orders, office moves, site openings, closures, supply management, and vendor coordination to keep a safe, professional workplace.

The position blends hands-on maintenance with customer service and light project management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of hands-on facilities maintenance, building operations, or general trades in office/commercial setting.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting and life safety troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and triage work order requests through ticketing systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs (lighting, ceilings, doors, plumbing, HVAC).
• Coordinate with licensed vendors for work outside scope; manage vendor to completion.
