Job summary

St. Anthony's Foundation seeks a Building Maintenance and Reliability Manager to lead maintenance and janitorial services and ensure facilities operate safely and reliably.

The role is field‑centric, with hands‑on responsibility for repairs, maintenance, and on‑site supervision across buildings, grounds, and utilities. You will manage staff, vendors, and resources, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with SAF policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in facilities management or related field, or professional certification.
• Experience in facilities management within nonprofit or community-based settings preferred.
• Knowledge of California Title 24 requirements and building operations.
• Ability to manage budgets and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Manages maintenance and custodial staff, including hiring, scheduling, performance feedback, documentation, and corrective action.
• Oversees day-to-day facilities operations, including staff, vendors, and resources.
• On-call maintenance coverage during off hours, holidays, and emergencies.
• Contracting maintenance services and site security systems.
• Develops preventive maintenance plans and ensures regulatory compliance.
