Job summary

Lakeshore Global Energy FM LLC is seeking a Technician 1 to support our Facilities Maintenance team at an industrial site. The role focuses on performing daily maintenance tasks, recording boiler and equipment readings, and assisting with PM work to keep plant operations safe and reliable.

You will follow site procedures, use basic hand tools, and collaborate with technicians to address maintenance needs while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Must be dependable and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Take boiler and equipment readings/logs as required.
• Fill and maintain cooling towers as needed.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks.
• Assist with general facility maintenance and upkeep.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
