Job summary

Lakeshore Global Energy FM LLC is seeking a Technician 1 to perform a variety of facility maintenance and support services at the assigned site. The role supports the Maintenance team by completing daily tasks and assisting technicians to keep equipment and systems operational.

Candidate should have basic handyman skills, be safety-conscious, able to follow written and verbal instructions, and work well both independently and as part of a team in an industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance or related fields is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and general maintenance practices.
• Ability to perform basic handyman tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and adapt to changing daily assignments.

Responsibilities

• Take and document boiler and equipment readings/logs as required.
• Fill and maintain cooling towers as needed.
• Perform offloads and related tasks at the tank farm per site procedures and safety rules.
• Sweep and maintain shop floors and designated work areas.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks via the maintenance system.
• Assist with general facility maintenance and upkeep throughout the site.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company, customer, safety, environmental, and site procedures.
