Job summary

DAn Solutions is seeking an experienced F5 Systems Engineer to support secure enterprise network infrastructure for a government customer. The role focuses on traffic management, application delivery, system availability, and engineering of F5 technologies across data centers.

The ideal candidate will have TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph, DoD 8570 IAT Level II, and hands-on experience with F5 LTM/ASM, BIG-IQ, and APM, plus strong routing, security, and documentation skills.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification compliance.
Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of F5 technologies, including LTM and related modules.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, SDN, and 802.1X.
Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and NTP in large, multi-site environments.
Understanding of enterprise storage, virtualization, networking, data center migration, and disaster recovery.
Knowledge of security controls and compliance requirements.
Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Configure, administer, and troubleshoot F5 appliances across multiple data centers.
Design, deploy, and maintain F5 solutions including LTM, ASM, BIG-IQ, and APM.
Support global traffic management and advanced traffic management capabilities.
Develop technical requirements, system documentation, and operating procedures.
Monitor and troubleshoot network security infrastructure, connectivity, and performance.
Recommend and implement improvements to reliability, security, and performance.
Test new software releases, upgrades, and platform features.
Perform capacity planning and configuration optimization.
Collaborate with networking, infrastructure, virtualization, and security teams.
Coordinate hardware and virtual appliance upgrades, testing, and maintenance.
