Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking an Escrow Officer for our client, a national real estate services organization, to join the Dayton, OH team and support residential transactions from contract through closing. You will coordinate closings, prepare and review escrow documents, manage funds, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in escrow, title, or real estate closing coordination.
• Knowledge of residential real estate transactions and closing procedures.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
• Notary Public certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with escrow/title software platforms is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional industry certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate residential real estate closings
• Prepare escrow instructions, settlement documents, and closing packages
• Review title and escrow documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Manage escrow accounts and disbursement of funds in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Communicate with clients, lenders, attorneys, and real estate professionals throughout the transaction process
• Ensure deadlines are met and transactions close on schedule
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism in all interactions
• Maintain accurate records and support compliance with internal procedures and state regulations
