Job summary

Qcells North America is seeking an Emergency Response Team (ERT) Supervisor to lead the site emergency response program at the Cartersville, GA facility. You will supervise ERT Leads and Technicians, manage training, staffing, and readiness for 24/7 coverage, and own programs like the Emergency Action Plan, fire brigade, and HAZWOPER.

In this role you will act as Incident Commander or Incident Safety Officer for major events, build relations with local fire and regulatory agencies, and help

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of firefighting or emergency response experience, incl. 3+ years in a lead/supervisory role.
• Experience operating an industrial ERT or fire brigade with staffing, training, and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of ICS and regulatory inspection processes for OSHA and related agencies.
• Experience building and maintaining a respiratory protection program and related trainings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop ERT Leads and Technicians across rotating shifts for 24/7 coverage and staffing levels.
• Set performance expectations, conduct reviews, manage attendance, overtime, onboarding, and disciplinary actions.
• Establish qualification paths for ERT staff including certifications, refreshers, and competency documentation.
• Lead safety culture and ensure medical clearance, fit-testing, and equipment readiness.
• Own and update the site emergency response program, including AEP, Fire Prevention, and HAZWOPER procedures.
