Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is seeking an Equipment Services Technician to maintain and improve the reliability of custom automated laboratory equipment used in genomics manufacturing. You will report to the Equipment Services Manager and join the San Diego on-site team, contributing to uptime and product quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience with facilities or maintaining manufacturing, production, or laboratory automation equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience maintaining automated laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on custom automated lab equipment to maximize reliability.
• Coordinate maintenance with manufacturing teams to maximize uptime and minimize interruptions.
• Install, calibrate, test, modify, and repair equipment using SOPs and engineering drawings.
