T1 Energy Inc. in Rockdale, Texas, is hiring Equipment Engineers to own and optimize its TOPCon print-line toolset across screen printers, dryers, and furnaces. This hands-on role focuses on keep-running decisions, safe troubleshooting, and data-driven maintenance in a 24/7 fab environment.

You’ll establish PM schedules, work with vendors, and train technicians while building the fab from the ground up. A strong background in semiconductor or solar manufacturing is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on + 3+ years of equipment eng experience.
• Hands-on repair of print lines, dryers, and furnaces required.
• Ability to troubleshoot from schematics and PLC/HMI diagnostics.
• Experience improving uptime and eliminating recurring failures.

Responsabilidades

• Own OEE, availability, MTBF, MTTR for your toolset.
• Be first on the tool when it down; diagnose, fix, and data-backup the fix.
• Root-cause on chronic failures using 8D, FMEA, Pareto; verify fixes hold.
• Analyze alarms and maintenance data using JMP/SQL/Python/Excel.
• Own PM schedule; refine vendor PM procedures and spares levels.
• Maintain interlocks, exhaust, abatement interfaces, and PPE controls.
• Collaborate with Process Eng on print alignment and firing profile hardware.
• Lead tool installation, SAT, qualification and train technicians.
• Document procedures and ensure readiness for production.
