AECOM is seeking an Environmental Technician to support remediation, demolition, and site restoration projects in New Jersey. The role requires leading field crews, supervising equipment operators, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on active sites at Pompton Lakes and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in environmental remediation, strong field supervision skills, and OSHA/HAZWOPER background.

Formación

• HS Diploma with 4+ years of relevant environmental remediation experience.
• US citizenship required; no sponsorship.
• Experience supervising union and non-union labor and field crews.
• Ability to manage multiple on-site activities safely and effectively.
• Strong knowledge of environmental controls and safety plans.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily field operations for remediation, demolition, excavation, cap placement, trenching and site restoration.
• Supervise union and non-union equipment operators, laborers, teamsters, drillers and subcontractors on active sites.
• Coordinate work sequencing, equipment use, contractor activities, and daily production goals to maintain schedule and quality.
• Drive adherence to work plans, construction specs, and environmental controls.
• Oversee field sampling programs and support regulatory reporting as needed.
• Maintain daily logs, reports, safety records, and subcontractor documentation.
• Interface with regulatory inspectors and client representatives during field activities.
