Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking an Environmental Specialist II to support our Lab & Onsite Support Services team. This role manages client hazardous waste programs on-site in the Mesa, AZ area, reporting to an Operations Manager from the Casa Grande base.

Responsibilities include OSHA/regulatory compliance, waste preparation and documentation, safe handling of waste on client sites, inspections, and potential EHS audits. A strong focus on customer service and safety outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hazardous-waste industry or relevant military experience.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities for client interactions.
Ability to analyze complex issues, develop solutions, and implement strategies.

Responsibilities

Understand OSHA regulations and Triumvirate Health and Safety practices.
Prepare chemical/biological waste for shipment; manage federal/state waste documents.
Safely handle hazardous waste containers on client sites; load/unload waste.
Conduct safety equipment and hazardous waste inspections.
Occasionally perform EHS audits for clients.
Deliver exceptional customer service and innovative solutions.
Develop regulatory expertise to ensure client compliance (RCRA, DOT, OSHA).
Conduct spill response assessments and cleanup efforts.
Rotating on-call responsibilities for Emergency Response (optional).
