Kaiser Aluminum Warrick is seeking an Environmental Compliance Manager to lead our Warrick site environmental program in Newburgh, Indiana. You will ensure regulatory compliance, provide guidance to plant operations, and manage environmental requirements for capital projects and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or natural sciences (chemistry, biology, etc.).
• 10+ years of relevant environmental experience.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead change in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the compliance aspects of the Warrick site environmental program.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Provide regulatory guidance and environmental support to plant operations.
• Manage environmental requirements for capital projects and operational changes.
• Work with regulatory agencies to secure permits and approvals and resolve compliance matters.
• Maintain environmental records and prepare required agency reports.
• Set performance standards and metrics for direct reports.
• Maintain required training and certifications, including Method 9, HAZWOPER, stormwater pollution prevention, and related programs.
