Job summary

Medsien is seeking a Medical Assistant to be stationed in the Trenton or Detroit, MI area, working in clinics to support Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM). This is an in-person role, not remote, collaborating with physicians and care teams to engage patients directly.

Responsibilities include enrolling patients, educating them on CCM/RPM, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with clinic staff to meet enrollment goals.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant certification is required.
• 1+ year of clinical experience preferred, especially in care management or chronic disease settings.
• Strong communication and documentation skills are essential for effective patient coordination.

• Engage with eligible patients in person at partner clinics and introduce CCM and RPM programs.
• Educate patients on the benefits of CCM and RPM services and answer questions about the programs.
• Guide eligible patients through the enrollment process and ensure all information and documentation are completed accurately.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families throughout the enrollment process.
• Coordinate with clinic staff and Medsien’s care management team to support a smooth patient enrollment experience.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and enrollment status.
• Work toward established patient enrollment goals.
• Build positive relationships with patients and clinic staff while representing Medsien professionally.

Position Overview

As a Medical Assistant at Medsien, you will be stationed in various clinics across the Trenton or Detroit, MI area, where you will support the implementation and management of Chronic Care Management (CCM), Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), and other care programs. This is not a remote position; you will work directly with physicians and care teams in person to assist with patient engagement and care coordination.

• Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical processes.
• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to different clinic locations in the Trenton or Detroit, MI area as needed.
