Job summary

WorldClinic, Inc. is hiring a Health & Wellness Specialist (On-Site EMT/Medic) in Altha, Florida, to support safety and wellbeing of jobsite workers with on-site medical care and coordination with clinical teams.

This is an independent field role backed by a clinical team. The ideal candidate has BLS/CPR/First Aid, EMT/NREMT preferred, 3–4 years in emergency or occupational medicine, a valid driver’s license, and physical stamina for a ~5-hour daily site walk and lifting 25–50 lb.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS, CPR, First Aid certified; EMT/NREMT preferred.
• 3–4 years in emergency, occupational, military medicine, or similar field.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to walk jobsite up to 5 hours daily and lift 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide first aid under provider direction.
• Coordinate case management with follow-ups and referrals.
• Foster trust with patients, site staff, and healthcare providers.
• Provide psychosocial support via peer model.
• Lead injury prevention initiatives, including stretch and flex and ergonomic coaching.
• Document patient interactions in the EHR.
• Keep on-site clinic clean, organized and stocked.
• Support orientations and trainings with safety teams.
