Job summary

ProgressiveHealth is seeking an EMT-B/AEMT/Paramedic to join our on-site occupational health team at an H-E-B distribution facility in San Marcos, TX. This PRN role supports emergency response, injury prevention, and employee health initiatives.

You’ll work with a fast-moving team delivering patient care, triage, and coordination with EH&S and clinical staff. State licensure and CPR/AED are required or obtainable before start.

Qualifications

• State licensure, certification, and registration in good standing or ability to obtain before start.
• CPR/AED certification required or obtained prior to employment.
• Physical ability to stand/walk/sit throughout shift.
• Strong professional communication, written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Respond to on-site emergencies following protocols.
• Provide injury care, triage, and escalate as needed.
• Inspect and maintain EMS equipment.
• Conduct drug screenings and health surveillance as required.
• Collaborate with EH&S and client on health programs.
• Document care accurately and confidentially.
• Support clinical staff with follow-up care.
