Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems LLC. is seeking a Test Technician I for an on-site role in Streetsboro, OH. You will implement test methods, operate diverse test instruments, document results, and contribute to testing of new products and production runs.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with electrical test equipment, reads schematics, and can work independently with limited supervision. Associate degree or two years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2+ years of electrical testing experience in power systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with test equipment and documenting test procedures.
• Basic programming or scripting for device configuration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-power up inspection of electrical and electronic equipment.
• Conduct functional testing up to 600VAC and basic testing.
• Perform burn-in and stress testing to verify performance.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC power and control circuits up to 600V.
• Assist with wiring, crimping, and routing of assemblies.
• Set up and program devices using computer-based tools.
• Complete test reports and maintain documentation.
